Dynamic Mill Toolpath Dynamic Mill is a new 2D High Speed Toolpath for Mastercam X4. Dynamic Mill gives you the ability to utilize the entire flute length of the cutting tool, saving both time and money. Dynamic Mill supports many powerful entry methods, including a custom entry method that allows it to program complex shapes.

Enhanced micro lifts have been incorporated from the Peel Mill toolpath to further refine the Dynamic Mill motion and avoid excessive heat build-up. Powerful entry methods and micro lifts both support custom feeds and speeds to further enhance productivity and generate safe tool motion. Dynamic Mill offers flexible retract options to keep the tool down in smaller parts and support rapid retract on larger parts. Refine Toolpaths Mastercam Mill delivers a powerful new toolpath refiner for 3D surface toolpaths. This new filter allows unsurpassed control on surface tool paths, resulting in optimized cycle times and better finishes
Mastercam for SolidWorks Mastercam for SolidWorks brings the world's leading modeling software together with the world's most widely-used CAM software. SolidWorks users can now program their parts directly within SoildWorks using the toolpaths and machining strategies preferred by most shops around the world.
Multi-threading Multi-threading is the ability to segment complex tasks in a multi-core computer, delivering faster processing and other benefits. Mastercam Mill delivers full multi-threading support, and allows you to turn it on or off.
With multi-threading on, a toolpath will be processed in a multi-threaded mode if the toolpath type is supported. During this time, the user is free to continue working on other tasks within Mastercam.
There are two major benefits to multi-threading. First, users can continue working in Mastercam as the multi-threading manager is processing. Without multithreading, users would have to run multiple Mastercam sessions so that other work can continue while waiting for Mastercam to process a toolpath. Second, there is a dramatic decrease in toolpath processing time. You can see the benefit yourself by trying the multi-threading capability and viewing the time savings recorded in theMastercam Event Log.
