MCAD 3D MCAD interfaces are designed to plug into CADSTAR to deliver additional functionality, which can be easily accessed from the CADSTAR interface.
IDF The bi-directional IDF (Intermediate Data Format) interface to CADSTAR enables the physical aspects of CADSTAR designs to be transferred to a 3D mechanical design system for checking and modification. After modification you can then import the design back into CADSTAR.
