2022 – it was indeed a tough year, with the transitioning to endemic phase – masks were coming off; offices were filling up; tradeshows and events were making its way for a comeback. We sure can’t thank 2022 for all the ups and downs we faced. While we are preparing to enter 2023, let’s take a quick recap on the memory lane to our favourite moments of 2022!
IME Launches the New Stratasys F770 – The First 3D Printer in Malaysia that has Large Build Capacity
We kicked start our 2022 with the first in-person hybrid event at PSDC, in collaboration with Materialise. In this event, we had the opportunity to share the latest 3D printing technologies available. It was surely a fruitful time to meet everyone especially after 2 years since the beginning of the pandemic.

Making our comeback physically at METALTECH – aside from showcasing all of our Design to Manufacturing solutions, we were also honoured to welcome YB Senator Datuk Lim Ban Hong ( Deputy Minister, Ministry of International Trade and Industry ) together with YB General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Bin Mohamed ( Co-Chairman, Informa Markets Asia ) at our booth, accompanied by Mr. TK Teoh ( Founder and Chairman, IME Group ) and Madam Julia Wee ( CEO, IME Group ) to launch the new Stratasys F770 – first 3D Printer in Malaysia that has large build capacity that enables manufacturers to print large parts and undertake industrial-scale orders which makes 3D printing more affordable.
Also making his first appearance – collaboration and integration between several equipment such as the miniature Industry 4.0 factory, real-time dashboard for OEE ( Overall Equipment Effectiveness ), pick to light system, AGV ( automated guided vehicle ), AI vision system, high accuracy CMM systems, and cobots ( collaborative robots ).

IME in ARCHIDEX 2022
Our first time at ARCHIDEX and it sure is an eye-opening experience!
We are humbled by the overwhelming interest in Archicad, the first BIM software – when coupled with VR is just what every client needs to visualise their new building ! Many were also amazed by how 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing is applied in Architecture and Construction – form concept models, interior designs, to construction of buildings.
With 3D Printing technology, designers and architects would be able to print out the models to improve the stage of project planning and bring innovative solutions to Architecture industry. We make the ideas become reality.
MoU Signing Ceremony with UTHM
In Academia, we have continued to sign MoU with multiple higher learning institutions, aligned with our mission to bridge the gap between Academia and Industry. We hope that the professional certification programmers would benefit them in increasing their employability, and at the same time benefit the industry with future-ready graduates.
IME Largest Get -Together Annual Event – IME INNOVATION DAY 202
We were thrilled and excited to be back PHYSICALLY, especially after 2 years of meeting only on virtual platform!😬 We were very pleased to have such an overwhelming response from all the attendees nationwide.
With this year’s theme “Fit-For-The-Future Digital Transformation”, the event this year shares how the pandemic has forced us to not only adapt to the new normal but forced businesses to transform and leverage on technology to ensure business sustainability, to build business resilience by being agile in adopting and embracing change.
